Summary
Ironworks Live does not track you. We do not collect information for the purpose of uniquely identifying you, and we do not partner with advertising networks or tracking systems.
We record that requests reached our servers and may estimate a broad geographic area from technical request information to help understand and manage the service. We do not retain precise location, sell this information, use it to follow you, or provide it to advertising or tracking partners.
What this site does
Ironworks Live is an independent community-information site with a public live view of Ironworks Plaza, an event calendar, local weather, a general-inquiry form and limited first-party traffic reporting. The public site has no account registration, advertising network or cross-site tracking.
General inquiries
If you use the inquiry form, we receive the name, email address, optional telephone number and message you provide, together with the network address presented to our server. That address may represent your device, network, proxy or privacy service rather than your device alone.
We use the form information to understand and respond to your inquiry. We use the network address only to investigate abuse, harassment or threats and to protect Ironworks Live and the people who operate it. We do not disclose the address outside those people except to law enforcement when required by law or when reasonably necessary to report or respond to suspected unlawful conduct. Form information is not sold, used for marketing or added to a mailing list.
A queued submission is deleted from the web server after it is accepted. The resulting correspondence, including its recorded network address, may be retained only as needed to respond, address abuse and maintain an ordinary record of the conversation.
Information used to operate the site
Like most websites, Ironworks Live receives limited technical information when you visit, such as your network address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. We use this information to deliver, secure and understand use of the site. We do not use it to build advertising profiles or follow visitors across other websites.
Audience measurement
We keep limited first-party measurements, such as page visits and use of the live view, to understand whether the site is useful and working properly. A visitor is counted at most once each local day, with no identifier that follows that visitor into another day.
While the live page is visible, the site sends a temporary anonymous heartbeat so it can estimate how many browser tabs are actively viewing it. The random tab identifier expires shortly after heartbeats stop and is not associated with a network address, analytics visitor identifier or page history. Minute-level aggregate checkpoints may be retained for averages and trend analysis.
We retain the network address used for a verified page visit in a separate, restricted dataset, deduplicated by local day, for aggregate geographic analysis and future improvements to that analysis. The analytics software does not associate it with the analytics visitor identifier, requested page, referrer, complete browser description or an individual page-view record. The address we store may or may not be the one used by your device, depending on how you access our site; for example, it may represent a network gateway or privacy service.
We attempt to determine whether you are using a system or service whose address may not represent your actual location. To make that determination, the recorded address may be submitted to an IP-classification provider. We use the result only to exclude the recorded address from reports of where our visitors are coming from. It does not affect access to the site or whether a visit is counted. Geographic results are estimates at country, region and city level; they are reported as address-days rather than as identified people, and raw addresses are not displayed in reports.
Cookies and browser storage
Public pages do not use cookies. The weather display may briefly store the latest weather response in your browser so it does not need to request the same information repeatedly. A separate restricted analytics area uses a temporary session cookie only for our own staff, never the public.
Live camera and archive
The public view shows part of Ironworks Plaza. Camera audio is not published or archived. The public live view is not a public historical recording. A separate video-only archive is maintained on restricted private infrastructure for operational purposes and is not publicly accessible.
Other services and links
The site relies on service providers for features such as weather information and video playback. Those providers receive the technical information ordinarily required to fulfill a browser request and apply their own privacy policies. Event and venue links lead to independent sites; Ironworks Live does not receive information about what you do after following them.
Privacy inquiries
Questions about this policy or the site’s privacy practices may be sent to privacy@ironworks.live.
Changes
This page will be revised when the site’s data practices materially change. The effective and updated dates above identify the published version. New account, contact, advertising or location-sharing features require an updated privacy review before publication.
